tools for circular representation of omics data

OmicCircos bioconductor package is here http://bioconductor.org/packages/2.13/bioc/html/OmicCircos.html

I believe it is an R alternative to Circos http://circos.ca/

It looks like OmicCircos is easier to use than Circos....I was too reluctant to read the documentation
of Circos, and the installation and configuration look complicated....
